SPIRIT privacy policy

SPIRIT develops and offers users all over the world innovative software communication products for instant messaging, audio and video calls and video conferencing under the VideoMost brand. All SPIRIT products are targeted to meet modern requirements for ensuring the confidentiality of your information.

SPIRIT Privacy Policy covers methods and algorithms used to process information transferred (including text messages). For example, what information is collected and how it may affect users. SPIRIT Privacy Policy also clarifies what technologies applied to protect the privacy of the users’ data (for example, deleting sent and delivered messages from our servers immediately; allowing users to choose whom they want to communicate via our products, etc.).

When we say "VideoMost", "we", "us", "us", or "our(s)", we mean SPIRIT. Unless otherwise noted, this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to all of our products, services, websites and their functionality (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Products”). You should also read the Terms of Use of the Products (“Terms”), which sets out the terms and conditions for using our Products. 1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT

VideoMost receives or collects information as you use our Products, including when you install our Products, access our Products, and use our Products.

1.1. What Information do you provide to us

  • Your account information. To create a VideoMost account, you must provide your mobile phone number or email. You can also add additional information to your account, such as your name, profile photo, and status message. By using our Products, you give us your specific, informed and conscientious consent to provide us with this information.

Also, you regularly provide access to the phone numbers of VideoMost users and other contacts stored in your mobile phone address book. You declare that you have the right to contact these numbers and give us specific, informed and conscious consent to provide us such information

Your messages. Standard use of our Products assumes we transmit your communications over an encrypted channel to protect them from being read by third parties.

  • Your contacts. To help you communicate with other people, we may create lists of favorite contacts for you, and you are free to create and select groups or mailing lists, join and be added to them by yourself, while these groups and lists will become part of your account information.
  • Support. You may provide us with information related to the use of our Products, including copies of your communications, and your contact details so that we can provide you technical support and make our Products even more convenient and enjoyable for you to use. For example, you can email us information regarding the use of our application or other matters. By contacting the Support Service, you give us your specific, informed and conscientious consent to provide us this information.

1.2. What information is collected automatically

  • Product Use and Debug Information. We collect diagnostic, Product-related information, and performance data for our Products. Such reports include information about your activities (for example, how you use our Products, how you interact with other people using them, etc.), log files and reports about diagnostics, failures and other characteristics of the Products. By using our Products, you give us your specific, informed and conscientious consent to provide us with this information.
  • Information about your device and Internet connection. We collect information about your device which your account has been associated with when you installed and started using our Products. 2. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use all the information we have about you exclusively to operate, provide, improve, analyze, customize, support and promote our Products.

  • Our products. Besides we develop and market our Products, we also provide user support, troubleshooting, improving and customizing our Products. We study how people use our Products, analyze and use the information we have to evaluate and improve our Products, conduct research, develop and test new Products and functionality, and troubleshoot Products. Your phone number, name and profile photo, online status and status message, "last seen" status and read receipts can be seen by all users of our Products, although you can choose to hide certain information from other users through the settings in our products.
